Chamber Support & FAQ

Chamber 1.0 · iOS 17 and later. Email kirylapps@gmail.com and you'll get a reply from a human, usually within two business days.

Writing in about a bug? Include your iPhone model, iOS version, and the Chamber version from Settings at the bottom of the app's settings drawer. It cuts the back-and-forth in half.

I paid but Pro features are still locked
Open the Chamber Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that made the purchase. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we will help.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Chamber. Cancel there and you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles all refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does Lifetime include future cameras and films?
Yes. Lifetime unlocks the full cabinet plus future camera and film drops, with no renewal.
The viewfinder is black
Chamber needs camera access. Go to Settings › Chamber on your iPhone and turn Camera on. If it is already on, close and reopen the app — another app may be holding the camera.
I can't import or save photos
Go to Settings › Chamber › Photos and choose Full Access (or Limited and select the photos you want to work with). Chamber only reads photos at the moment you pick one — it never scans your library in the background.
The saved photo doesn't match what I saw
It should — Chamber develops the exact frame you were looking at, so the preview and the result are the same image. If you do see a difference, that is a bug we want to hear about; send us both images.
What happens after 36 shots?
Nothing is lost. The frame counter rolls over to a new roll and your earlier frames stay in the roll view. Chamber does not cap how many photos you save.
How do I change the export format?
Chamber saves JPEG by default for maximum compatibility. To save HEIC instead (smaller files, same quality), open Settings in the app and switch the export format.
Can I change the date stamp?
Yes. The date stamp toggles on the camera deck and applies live. Its format is customisable in Settings.
Why is the black-and-white film showing colour?
Lower the intensity slider and a mono film fades toward a desaturated base, not toward the original colour. At full intensity it is fully black and white. If you see colour at 100%, email us.

Chamber processes every photo on your device. Nothing is uploaded, there are no accounts, no ads, and no third-party analytics. Full details in the privacy policy.
