FocusDrop Terms of Use

The rules for using the app and its subscriptions.

Effective 4 June 2026 (covers app version 1.3)

// agreement

By installing or using FocusDrop, you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard end-user license agreement (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement) which applies to all apps distributed through the App Store. Where the two conflict, Apple's EULA controls for matters Apple has reserved for itself; these terms control everything else.

"FocusDrop", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Kiryl Zhukouski, sole developer and publisher of the FocusDrop app, based in Poznań, Poland. "You" means the person installing and using the app.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install and use FocusDrop on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal use, subject to these terms and Apple's EULA.

You may not:

// subscriptions

FocusDrop is free to download. Some features (collectively, "Pro") are available only with a paid subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, processed through Apple's App Store using your Apple ID.

Current pricing (verify in-app for your local currency and taxes):

Free tier limits at the time of writing: 5 focus sessions per day, up to 5 active tasks in your deck (habits don't count toward the cap), and the basic feature set. Free tier limits may change in future versions; if they tighten, we'll communicate the change in advance.

Auto-renew disclosure (Apple requires this language): auto-renewable subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you turn auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the published price. Manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renew in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or via your account on apple.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then.

Free trial: the 7-day free trial on the Yearly plan is available once per Apple ID for new subscribers only. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your Apple ID is charged the yearly price and the subscription begins. You can cancel any time during the trial in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Dismiss-recovery offer: if you tap "Close" on the in-app paywall, FocusDrop may offer you the same 7-day Pro trial as a one-time recovery offer. Accepting it has the same terms as the regular yearly trial above: 7 days free, auto-converts to the yearly subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Refunds for App Store purchases (subscription, lifetime, or otherwise) are handled solely by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

// what's included in pro

Pro unlocks the following features at the time of writing:

The exact Pro feature list may change over time as the app evolves. Removing a Pro feature is rare; if it happens, we'll communicate the change in advance, and your remaining paid subscription period will not be charged for content you no longer receive.

// your data

FocusDrop stores all of your data on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups (typically via your iCloud or computer backup of the iPhone). We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, accidental deletion, app uninstallation, or restoration from a backup that does not contain FocusDrop's data.

// no warranty

FocusDrop is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or that it will deliver any particular outcome on your focus, productivity, or wellbeing.

FocusDrop is a productivity tool, not a medical device. It is not designed to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. If you are managing ADHD or any other condition, the app is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

// limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) FocusDrop. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid to Apple for FocusDrop in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages — in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by applicable law.

// apple's role

FocusDrop is sold through Apple's App Store. As a third-party beneficiary of these terms, Apple has the right to enforce them. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and is not responsible for product warranties or claims, including product liability, regulatory non-compliance, or claims under consumer-protection or similar law. // changes to the terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you use the app applies to that use. We'll bump the effective date at the top of the page when we make changes; if a change is material, we'll surface it in the app or by email if you've contacted us.

// governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the courts of Poznań, Poland — except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, in which case those laws apply.
