FocusDrop Support & FAQ

The questions people ask most often. The same FAQ is bundled inside the app under Profile → Help & FAQ.

What are levels and XP?
Levels reflect focused work over time. You earn XP for completing tasks (25–100 XP by size), finishing focus sessions (10 XP), and maintaining streaks (1.1× to 1.5× multiplier). Levels never go down.
Where do swiped cards go?
Swipe right to start focusing. Swipe up to mark done — find those under Stats → Completed Tasks. Swipe left to send to the back of the deck (nothing is deleted). Swipe down to see details.
Can I undo a completed focus session?
Mark Complete asks for confirmation before awarding XP and the drop. Tap "Keep going" if you hit it by accident.
What's the difference between a task and a habit?
Tasks appear in your Deck once. Habits repeat on a schedule (daily, weekdays, custom days) — toggle "Make it a Habit" when creating or editing a task.
How does the free tier work?
Free gets 5 focus sessions per day and up to 7 tasks in your deck. Pro unlocks unlimited sessions, custom durations, streak freezes, heatmap insights, themes, rewards, and more.
Can I change my default focus duration?
Yes — Profile → Default Focus. Pro users get the exact custom duration; free users snap to the closest preset (Sprint, Flow, or Deep).
How do I cancel a subscription?
On your iPhone: Settings → Apple ID (your name at the top) → Subscriptions → FocusDrop. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro until then. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I restore a previous purchase?
Open Profile → tap the upgrade card → on the paywall, tap "Restore Purchase" at the bottom. Your previous Pro entitlement (subscription or lifetime) will reactivate as long as you're signed in to the same Apple ID.
Where is my data stored?
All on your device, using Apple's SwiftData framework. There are no FocusDrop servers. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
Does FocusDrop sync across my devices?
Not yet. Today the data is local to each device. iCloud sync is on the roadmap and will be opt-in.
