CareBrief
iOS · 2026
CareBrief is a quiet iPhone app for adults caring for an aging parent — a private place to log what matters during the week, and to walk into the doctor's office ready.
Paste the doctor's after-visit summary and the app rewrites the medical jargon in plain English — on your iPhone, with no account and no cloud. One page in, one page out, all of it yours.
CareBrief has no servers. No account system. No analytics by default. Everything you log — your parent's name, conditions, vitals, photos, voice transcripts, appointment notes — lives in SwiftData on your device, encrypted at rest by iOS.
The after-visit translator runs on Apple's on-device Foundation Models. The text doesn't leave your iPhone unless your device has Apple Intelligence's Private Cloud Compute enabled and the model elects to use it — in which case Apple's privacy guarantees apply (no retention, no training, no Apple access).
Subscriptions go through Apple's StoreKit and notifications are local. We never see your name, email, payment method, or care notes.

Made by Kiryl Zhukouski in Poznań, Poland. CareBrief was built for a daughter caring for her mother — not for an acquirer five years from now, not for a data broker, not for a "platform." The absences (no cloud, no account, no sharing) are the product. If you have feedback, write to kirylapps@gmail.com.
